well i've uploaded a new song onto my blog
its been quite a while since i last changed my song

nothing much happening lately
stuff that's supposed to be on my mind as well as everybody else's would be
"study" "o-level" "exams" and stuff
went to school today
mr ng called us back for mock exams
lucky he postponed that a-maths papers
but we do have to come back another day to do them
if not we would have to be in school for over 8 hours
and he still wants to go through somemore
.
not many people turned up today too
as expected i guess
those whom were expected not to come did just that
.
good thing mr ng asks us to come back
this way at least i have reason to at least do some work
i can't seem to get myself to do anything constructive at home
.
oh wells
tomorrow chemistry practical
hope i don't make the same mistakes as i did in my prelims
but mrs hay said that her prelim paper was very different from normal o-level paper or something like that
so i guess i gonna have to expect something really different eh
i hope

ohya, my mum's going to pakistan in a few days time
the hospital she works at is sending a team there to help out after the recent quakes
guess that means that won't be able to celebrate hari raya with her
doesn't really matter anyway
its not like i celebrate it until its such a big deal
people say that they look forward to it cause they can get green packets and stuff
but to me its no big deal la
nothing much
.
oops
its already 11 plus
gonna have to sleep early tonight
got practical tomorrow
why am i not nervous eh?

i woke up this morning still kinda sleepy and stuff
and i decided what the heck
tried my luck on switched on my com
and it didn't make that annoying noise and was working!!
haha
phew~

i guess now everything's back to normal with my com
but i think that my com has an attitude problem or something like that
i didn't do anything to it and it was so-called spoiled
it refused to work
but after a few days of leaving it alone
it started working again without me doing anything to it
weird eh
anyway, hope my com stays happy from now on =)

on the other hand, part of me was hoping that my com was still not working
you know, Os coming up and having a spoiled com aint that bad if you wanna study

anyways, just wanna update about some stuff

last friday went to nyjc with mich & en

so far all that i know is that cai ping is the only person i know there

met the gals at about 2+

walked around

the school building looks kinda new eh

its really big too

basketball courts, soccer field, squash courts, tennis courts

the school atmosphere also kinda nice and stuff i guess

so that means that i'll definitely be aiming for nyjc

yup yup

i guess there's a really good chance that i'll be able to go there for the first three months

but what matters most is being able to go there even with my actual O-level results eh

nyjc all the way!! lol =)

there's also a straight bus from bishan interchange too

so travelling shouldn't be a problem

.

i guess with that i'll end my post here

graduation day coming up soon

this wednesday

i can't wait for secondary school life to be over

can't wait for O-levels to be over

i'm definitely gonna blog tonight
i wont say it was an eventful weekend cause i didnt really do much
but it was definitely a great weekend

saturday
well for most of the saturday afternoon was spent at home
boring
i had like no mood to do anything at all
.
anyways
the part i've been waiting for so long was in the evening
i left my house at what? 6pm i guess
mrt was kinda pack
ok la maybe no so pack
was heading to fullerton hotel
actually i wanted to get off at city hall then slowly
make my way across the singapore river to fullerton
but scared that i would be late
so i alighted at raffles place
then when i checked the time i found out that i was early -_-''
so i slowly walk to fullerton
walked pass the victoria concert hall
oh the memories
i also saw quite a few wedding couples taking wedding photos eh
atmosphere was really nice then
.
after that i realised that it was already 7
i thought i was late so i hurried to fullerton
in the end i went there, michelle and wei earn aint there yet
so i waited in the lobby
saw people walking around
think there was something going on in the ballroom downstairs
ohya, i even got to see how they set up the chocolate fountain at the courtyard!!
they just set up the fountain thingy and pour chocolate into it
wow
lucky i didnt drool
lol
.
after awhile finally saw mich & en
gave en her present
happy early birthday wei earn!!

haha i also have to thank mich
i think wei earn could have guessed that mich was the one who gave me the idea
so... thank you mich!!

walked over to town restaurant
haha can tell that en was really excited eh
just see her expression
she was smilies all the way
dont know if its her first time but i definitely know that it wasn't mich's first time eh

got our table then we slowly took plate after plate of food
suddenly we realised that our table so so full
we even had to stack up some plates
then the waiters were like all looking at us offering to clear some of our plates
but how? we haven't even began eating
yup so somehow we managed
before we began eating en was like taking photos
too bad i didnt bring my camera
i almost wanted to but i lazy bring bag

finally we started eating
think we took like half an hour to slowly take all the food and photos
i tell you the food was amazing
oh the seafood chowder
oh the salmon terriyaki
oh the cereal prawns
oh the crabs
OH THE FOOD!!
there's even some kind of fish that i ate that was so delicious but i don't even know the name of the fish eh
mich, en & i even had like this fear factor thingy
think all of us never tried the clams or oysters they served before
personally, i aint a clam or oyster person
so when they took them i was like "err... got any sauses?"
and surely enough i decided on lemon mayonese
my whole oyster or whatever you call it was covered with lemon mayo
it was sour like crazy that i'll never ever eat lemon mayo again
well at least i didnt really taste the oyster thingy eh
en said it tasted fishy
lol
yuck
.
desert was also way cool
they had all kinds of cakes and stuff
i tried the cheesecake
not bad eh
it tasted how should i say? cheessy?
lol
by the time we were full it was like gonna be 10
and when i say full i mean we were stuffed
then we slowly made out way home
.
ohya, mich also had this pretty interesting book haha
it can like test your compatibility with other people and tell what kinda person you are
.
i reached home at like 11
went to bed but for some reason i couldn't sleep eh
don't know why though

hey peeps
i'm back
gonna blog about yesterday
kayaking~!!
.
yesterday we SL went kayaking at macritche
first time kayaking there but of cause it wasn't my first time kayaking
i've like kayak so many times before
everybody had to pair up so i was with sammie wong
kayaking was great he went quite far from the starting point all the way to inside like one of the corners of the reservoir(i don't think that's proper english)
tricky part was when we all had to raft up together and mr lim asked some of us to change place
imagine standing up on just a few kayaks put together in the middle of the reservoir
one wrong step and you'll be sinking below
.
but that wasn't the most tricky part eh
mr lim still got the nerve to ask each kayak to have one person stand while the other paddle
he kayak quite a distance away from us and those standing could only sit after we've reached him
between me and sammie
i was the one standing cause i was the one in front
its easier for the one behind to paddle and steer eh
wah my leg cramp i tell you
till today i can still feel a slight pain when i walk
.
after that we raced
2 kayaks were to race head to head
sammie & i ended up racing with jun hong and teck kiat
off the mark we were ahead eh
and considering that both jun hong and teck kiat kinda strong
the finishing line was mr lim's kayak and we had to touch his kayak but we couldn't bang into him
just as sammie & i were about to reach mr lim's kayak, he started to paddle away
argh
we tried to reach out and grab his kayak but it was too late eh
we ended up capsizing!
lol
both of us were in the water
woohoo
capsizing is fun eh
.
overall the afternoon was ok i guess
OBS bring it on!!

well well
i've finally gotten back all my prelim results today
and i have to say that i'm really glad about them
am i satisfied?
yes
am i grateful?
yes
am i happy?
yes
.
before this week i already had the results for 4 subjects
so all's that's left is humanities and english
first block lesson was humanities
we had to do a mock test before we could get our paper
i didn't really have the mood to do the paper and i ended up not finishing it
last part of the section B i didn't finish
oh wells
left with 5 minute then mr ow gave us back our geog paper
he already gave us our social studies the thursday before
it was just ok i guess
i scored the same for both papers; exactly the same
some stuff happened while the papers were being given out
guess some people abit insensitive eh
so i shall not say what happened here

in the end we were released for our break late
.
everybody went down started eating
but i didnt
just bought milo to drink eh
after that went up to S31 for english
4E1 & 4E3 combined classes cause both taught by ms shamsudin
she scolded us cause some people were late
but cant blame her i guess
some people were like 15 minutes late
.
first she went through english paper 1 first
then followed by paper 2
after that everybody started calculating our total marks and overall grade
paper 1 plus paper 2 plus oral
i was so happy when i saw the digits on my calculator
but i had to wipe that smile off my face for the time being
i noticed that quite i few people who were sitting around me weren't too happy with their marks
in case you didn't know i was sitting with most of the 4E3 people
but then ms shamsudin told the whole class my grade
its quite a good grade i guess
then the 4E3 peeps started congratulating me and stuff; the smiles
but i can tell that some were disappointed in themselves
i aint gonna say what i got here cause i don't want people to say that i'm showing off or anything
sorry (if you really wanna know just ask me)
then the bell rang; time for our 2nd break
but as i was walking out i noticed that some of my own classmates were giving me a kinda strange look eh
it was like they wanted to kill me or something
no congrats or anything
well i'm not saying that i want them to congratulate me or something
but i guess it just shows how competitive my class really is
is like some of my class peeps are how should i say? hmm i don't know
but i've heard that some people do feel that some of my classmates are kinda selfish and inconsiderate
well i hope they aint talking about me or anything
but deep inside i knew that what all the others thought was no longer my concern
i was contented with what i have and for that i am grateful
.
to all those who think that you have not done well in your prelims
try not to let the results affect your studing ok
if you let it get to your head too much
soon you won't be able to concentrate
